ok so I've been looking a lot at psychedelic art lately, notably album covers and the like (because I am totally into the music and such, and also the vividness and imagination of the art). And when flicking through a book abour Rubens (titled "Master in the making" published by the national gallery, it's a really great read) I came accross a painting he did of Ganymede. It is one of the trippiest things I have ever seen. It's just a fucking mental painting, I love it. So of course, I had to try my hand at doing a copy, in more psychedelic colours. This is only the line-art, and unfinished at that. I went for a slightly cartoonish loose way of drawing for it. I'm painting it at the moment, watercolours for a change, so let's see how it goes

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
